Sara Miga is a senior in the photojournalism program at the University of Miami. She is majoring in Visual Communications as well as Marine Affairs.  Hoping to venture into the environmental research world after college, the water project plays a significant role in Sara's goals and aspirations.  Along with photo work and research, Sara built and currently manages this web site.

Mandy Koons  is a senior majoring in Political Science with minors in both English and Criminal Justice. Her work with Oasis in Crisis has predominantly focused upon public policy initiatives and legislation concerning water conservation in greater South Florida. She believes very strongly in the cause of the organization and being a native Floridian, realizes the importance of its efforts.

Charlotte Southern is a senior at the University of Miami's School of Communication majoring in Visual Communication and Studio Art. She has always been interested in the environment and has worked as a volunteer working with sea turtles at Mote Marine Laboratory in her hometown of Sarasota, Florida. On the Oasis Project she works as a photographer of the Florida environment.

Meghan Risser is a junior at the University of Miami. She is majoring in Political Science with a dual minor in Religion and Spanish. After graduation she hopes to work with a governmental agency concentrating on environmental issues and/or international relations. Her involvement in the water project has allowed her to enhance researching skills, and further writing abilities, while participating in a monumental task to inform those about the crisis with our water. Meghan's role in Oasis in Crisis is teaching her how to be a better interviewer and researcher uncovering the truths about many unknowns, which in the future will have great effect on her abilities to get things done.

Kristi is a third year Photojournalism and Marine Affairs major at the University of Miami. Besides Oasis in Crisis, she was involved with the Stop Cruise Pollution campaign, which recently succeeded in getting Royal Caribbean to update their sewage technology in their entire fleet. Projects such as these are helping Kristi obtain more experience in journalism, photography, and environmental issues. She hopes to incorporate all into a career one day.
